Yes, it's pretty sad, but unfortunately not too surprising, reading them. From my perspective as a US expat of almost two decades, my premonition that the US (and world) to a degree was going to go through a collective Dark Night of the Soul seems more and more on the money. A LOT of pain in these comments.
