Yes, I very much agree with you.

I was doing my best to write the article from a non-judgmental angle because, for one, one man's pollution might be another's cup of joe! Or something like that.

In all seriousness, though, yes, I'm feeling more and more like too many people may be creating fast food content. Much as I appreciate prolific writers, I also appreciate those who only publish (note: not write!) when they feel what they have to say is something that needs to be said.

One thing I didn't get into in this article is the role that commerce plays in this. I just started reading a blog post and saw this sentence, "as information has become abundant, attention has become the scarce resource." The article is about the Attention Economy and how it is a form of mind control. Yet I understand people want their content to be read and that, for some, this is a part of their income that they depend on. It's tricky!

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to comment and good luck with your pollution sifting!
