While I can agree with much of this article, I can't swallow the idea that Canada, which continues its discriminatory imprisonment of those who have chosen not to accept a rather ineffective medical injection, cares about its people, especially as its leader slanders anyone who has made that decision and then tries to speak out against divisive language and increase penalties against those who use it.
No, what Canada is doing here is exploiting a tragic situation in its southern neighbor to increase State power. Trudeau is to the 2020s what Tony Blair was to the 2000s---he dresses up elitist, anti-human polices in pretty language and a pretty face and people get sucked in by those external factors.
I've never owned a gun and happily have been living in a country, Japan, where I'm raising my kids not worrying about an event like Uvalde, but after the past few years of blatant abuses of power by supposedly liberal leaders in places like Canada and New Zealand, I've grown in my appreciation for the arguments made my pro-guns-rights people in the US.
