Well, this is another thing I needed to read as I am facing the end of my 15-year job, and, thanks to what I think is an over-reactive panic regarding CoronaV here in Japan, all my classes and side activities were pretty much canceled this March!
At first, the freedom felt exhilarating and while I am happy I am getting paid to do whatever the heck I want for a few weeks, it’s the first time in many years I am facing a future without a regular job.
And because that future is also being thrown into confusion due to the coronavirus situation (I have a big plan to fly to the U.S. in early April and spend five months there networking, writing, traveling and writing a book), well, it’s definitely a period of having to really trust in the process.
So thanks for the reminder to not let fear drag me down. Or at least to go into those fears and examine them, but not let them be real, because I have always liked the FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real.
Nice work!
