Trump's brain doesn't work like that--he's an in-the-moment reactor--but there are people in his ear, such as Stephen Miller, or even all the FOX News shows he watches who could steer him in that direction.

I see this situation as being about the shadow of our collective consciousness rising into awareness, and Trump is the perfect avatar for the Shadow Archetype of the Trickster.

This archetype is impossible to wrap one's rational mind around, and will use all manner of tricks to deceive.

For this reason, I think the article is excellent. I just disagree with the projection of it being something Trump himself will think up.
