The thing is, Dr. Stephenson's research on reincarnation at the University of Virginia is rather comprehensive. Thus, if you're going to say the burden of proof lies on those making the claims about reincarnation but then you aren't willing to look into his work, it seems more like your simply wanting to rest on your laurels to support your worldview.

That's fine ... if you weren't then claiming that a different worldview isn't supported.
