I'm definitely aware that the Othering is also coming from people who have been opposed to COVID-19 policies. I call that out when I see it, as well.

However, one thing I need to point out.

Most governments of major countries, especially in the West, around the world have been pushing policies that are promoting or downright enforcing CV19 vaccines, which is dividing cultures into two tiers. These policies are one-sized-fits all responses and are heavy handed. One need only look at how Canada is handling things to see this. When Richard Nixon faced mass protests, he actually went out to talk for hours with protesters; yet "liberal" Justin Trudeau immediately resorts to slandering millions of his citizens, saying their views were "unacceptable" and doesn't even consider it's his job to LISTEN to them.
