Sadly, Jessica, I don't think Biden has many honest bones in his body. I was a Bernie/Tulsi guy (my first blog post on this site explained why I felt this in early summer 2019) and while I have/had some disagreements with both of them, what I saw in both is what most pols, including Biden, lack: integrity. Even my friends who are Trump-friendly admitted that with Bernie, they felt they knew where he was coming from.

Biden? He's yet another finger-to-the-wind neoliberal Democrat. And when it comes to what he honestly believes, from years of watching him behave as a move-the-party-to-the-right Democrat (tough on crime in the 1990s, support the war in Iraq and help author the Patriot Act in the 2000s), I don't think it's pretty.

The more you distance yourself from these foolish partisans and develop your own voice and perspective, the better for you AND your readers. Keep at it!
