Robert, I appreciate the way you interact with people in these comments and while I like that you added the update and took Victoria's point as a good one, I also would like to hear from Victoria what she means about "countries with universal health care, where doctors don't receive such kickbacks."

I bring this up because I've lived in Japan for almost 20 years (born an raised in the US) and unless I'm missing something, the number of people being prescribed anti-depressants and other pharmaceuticals for mental health issues seems waaaay lower here than in the US and we also don't have commercials constantly for such companies' products.

So unless I'm misunderstanding your point, Victoria (always a possibility! ha ha), then I think Robert's cynicism is justified.
