Nice write-up!

I particularly enjoyed learning that the issue of media silos is also occurring in India.

I also think the practice of your uncle and apps/media outlets promoting multiple perspectives are spot on. I use an app called GroundNews for just that purpose.

My one addition to this idea, though, is to also consider media that goes deeper and wider than the more mainstream, current-events-focused, secular-based ones. I’m thinking of YouTube channels like Rebel Wisdom and the Stoa, or the work of people like Charles Eisenstein, Jamie Wheal and Douglas Rushkoff. There are many others, and since you added a mythological bent to your piece, I’ll mention someone I’ve just recently discovered and that is mythologist Michael Meade. His “Living Myth” podcast uses the lenses of mythology and psychology to peer at current events. Great stuff!
