Nice article, Beatrice Phi. It’s definitely a sorry state of affairs watching the so-called Left party flay about in their support of Joe Biden, a man who has spent his career castigating Democrats for not being right-wing enough and now is being propped up as the “Left wing” alternative to Donald Trump.

Personally, this primary and the way that the power brokers in the Democrat Party (cough, cough, Obama, cough, cough) manipulated from behind-the-scenes many candidates to drop out and support “Uncle John,” well, it’s made me conclude that I (and we?) need not focus any more attention on the presidency; that the U.S. as a federal political entity is in its dying days, so my focus is better aimed elsewhere.
