Just as you could have "religious nutters," one could very, very easily imagine this "elite" class, in the name of saving the planet from overpopulation of the "useless humans" breeding a virus to reduce the world's population. While I don't think that's what COVID was/is, those who are so quick to dismiss such speculation by labeling those who speculate "conspiracy theorists" only add to the suspicions many of us have that there may be some there there (especially when such speculations are censored from the very social media sites that are owned by these "elite" folks).
