I’m really happy that a) you found MDMA therapy and it helped you in such a profound, impactful way and b) that you took the time and had the courage to write about your experiences.
As a psychedelic advocate since the late 1990s when an LSD trip literally saved my life from an ever-deepening addiction to heroin and cocaine, I strongly believe that the more of us who come out of the “psychedelic closet,” the sooner they can be acceptable enough for them to be legal and thus available to change our culture when it needs it most.
Because like your story, I believe the culture itself has run into a wall insofar as options that can help with trauma. Things like MDMA and psychedelics open the heart and that, in my opinion, is what our modern civilization needs most in this critical era.
