I'm kind of an anti-WE campaign these past month or so. What do I mean? When I see people (or myself) making comments using "We," because I recognize the vast diversity of human experience, I speak up and say, "No, WE do not" (in this case, "want direction" and "confidence in that direction.")

Sure, good, moral leaders who are confident can be good for society and for individuals. But I don't know---my experience of the past few years is one where I'm looking less and less to others for direction and more and more to something inside myself that seems Bigger than me.
