I don't understand the point of your posts any more except to be read as doom porn. You never offer solutions and you browbeat us all for being so dumb. Why bother writing at all? Why bother living?

Nah, I'm able to hold space for the fact that we ARE in an Apocalypse--which means "to reveal"--and systems are crashing, including the focus on rationalism (which we see the Shadow of in making a religion out of The Science), but we humans are amazing, miraculous creatures on a vibrant, abundant planet FULL of life and we have what it takes to keep this human--and Earth--project going.

I don't remember seeing you strike that tone in any of your writing and I've been reading you for several years. At one time, I appreciated that you weren't wearing rose-colored glasses but now it just seems like you reveal in being gloomy and, well, that's just not what's called for if we are going to work our way through this.

In addition to all of that, a fair amount of your analysis about Covid and vaccines are, to put it bluntly, rather ridiculous. The one that stands out the most is this belief---again. like a religion--that everyone would have wanted to get vaccinated. Nah, bro---A LOT of us, who are intelligent, compassionate and very well-informed had reasons for skepticism about these things and so were being the control group in the experiment. Nothing that's happened with regard to their safety and effectiveness has given me any reason to think I'll ever get a vaccine for Covid-19, just as I don't get them for flus. I don't do "vaccines" that I have to get every year, or twice or year, or...what were you saying...four, maybe five or six times a year? What the heck are you babbling about with that?

Anyway, if any of you have read this far, I'd invite you to look away from the doom porn Umair deals in and find people, such as Charles Eisenstein and Daniel Schmactenberger, who are taking the meta-crisis VERY seriously, but aren't wallowing about it and earning clicks for feeding an addiction some have to reading about the Apocalypse.
