I definitely FEEL you on this one and have felt the same, though 2020 has been a constant reminder to me that my predictions are often well off the mark and I do sense that there are much bigger forces at play that very well might throw some welcome curveballs into the equation.

All that said, imploring each person to LOVE more – ourselves, each other, the animate world, the inanimate – seems to me the answer that is so often missing from most analysis because most analysis is done by people who are too based in their heads and have forgotten their hearts. For that reason, I LOVE this article and my heart breaks, as well. However, the human spirit seems to me to be coming alive in very interesting ways and I think, as you point out, these events so far are the tip of the iceberg so as events intensify, I don’t want to sell out our ability to make transformative changes overnight.

After all, it happens to people on the individual level when faced with death, so why wouldn’t it happen collectively?
