I believe you are correct, Janis, this process will most likely take place in the coming years and decades. There are a variety of reasons and intuitions why I think so.

Now, I say all that as I'm also increasingly cognizant of the understanding that Time is a Big Mystery, it works on many levels, and our everyday human experience of it as linear from past to future is just one of them. And this means predicting things, well, what a tricky and dangerous proposition!

I also believe that you're likely correct about revelations that we are not alone are forthcoming, but, well, I have way too many ideas about that to go into in a mere comment!
