Hi Josef---as someone who still considers myself a true Leftist (and a lefthanded guy ta boot!), I agree with everything you wrote except for "the real fascism is currently coming from the conservative side." I think it's more complicated than that and you were more accurate when you wrote about how both parties work for the same bosses.

Another thing I'd add is I believe Trump, whether he knows it or not, plays very well the role of "useful idiot" and/.or "controlled opposition." The modern Democratic Party has sold its Soul to the Devil and thus has very little in the way of POSITIVE vision or programs to offer the American people, so it LOVES having a Big Bad Wolf like Trump around to motivate people to the ballot box through FEAR.

We saw this clearly in the Wikileaks DNC emails that showed the Clinton campaign wanted to run against Trump because they thought he would not only be more beatable but because he would radicalize and thus destroy the Republican Party (this was known as the Pied Piper Strategy in the emails.). It was a VERY cynical, dark ploy and they are still using it. Thus, I do NOT take it seriously when people in the Democratic Establishment speak about Trump being a fundamental threat to democracy while NEVER acknowledging their role in putting him into that position.
