Good stuff, Jessica. Keep going. Recognizing that there won't be a Savior from either party, that, in general, the rich and powerful don't care about us everyday people can be a hard process to go through. We don't want to believe the world can be so cruel, we want to believe that if it's bad now, we have a solution by going to the ballot box. Sadly, those days, if they ever were here, are certainly not here now. Thus, it takes courage to keep going, especially when you start getting pushback from those who still remain committed to believing the illusion.
Thus, consider this response my way of saying if you keep going, while you will lose people, you'll gain others. There's a lot more of us out here than one might suspect. So, keep going. And I'll keep reading and responding, giving encouragement when I can, perhaps providing pushback to help you keep going.
For if WE are going to create "the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible," as writer Charles Eisenstein eloquently describes it, we're going to have to start working together FOR that world. Let the old one wither and die; we've MUCH work to do!
Keep Going!!
