D J B - you say in these comments that "Biden is committed to telling only the truth"? Really? Well, at least you are honest that you are on Team Blue. But man, even the folks I know who claim that as part of their identity wouldn't go THAT far!

Anyway, as an independent I appreciated this discussion. It's an important topic.

Also, something that doesn't come up--like it or not, the idea of social media wasn't envisioned by the Founders and heck, I don't even think if I go back to my youth in the 1980s did many people see it coming. I bring that up because the argument that the First Amendment doesn't apply to private companies has been true but these things are called SOCIAL media because they are more and more equivalent to a town square. Thus, I don't find that argument all that convincing---we are in new territory here which means relying on outdated conceptions won't do us much good in navigating it.
